Flavor Journey

Regional Chocolate Packaging Collection

A packaging concept that transforms regional fruit flavors and city identities into a cohesive chocolate collection through branding, logo design, and package development.

A city-inspired chocolate packaging collection.

Flavor Journey is a branding-driven packaging project that translates four American cities into distinct chocolate flavors while maintaining a unified visual identity.

Role

Brand & Packaging Designer

Developed the logo system, packaging structure, color direction, and final mockup presentation.

Project Type

Packaging + Branding

A chocolate packaging collection built around four city-flavor identities.

Tools

Adobe + Procreate

Used for identity design, dieline layout, illustration, and mockup development.

Focus

Regional Storytelling

Four cities are translated into flavor-based package identities.

Turning city identity into a chocolate packaging system.

Flavor Journey is a chocolate packaging concept inspired by New York, Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles. Each city is paired with a regional flavor and translated into its own visual identity.

Beginning with logo development and package structure, the project evolved into a complete packaging system featuring city-inspired graphics, flavor-based branding, and final product mockups.

Scope

Branding, packaging design, logo development, dieline layout, illustration, and product visualization.

Deliverables

Design brief, package structure, city flavor logo system, final packaging artwork, and chocolate product mockups.

From logo and dieline to regional package identities.

The project moved from brand identity and package structure to regional research, flavor logo creation, and final packaging presentation.

01

Main Logo

Created the main Flavor Journey logo as the foundation of the brand system.

02

Dieline

Defined the wrapper structure, folds, information hierarchy, and brand placement.

03

Map Research

Used city maps as references for shape, identity, and regional storytelling.

04

Fruit Logos

Created fruit-based logos connected to each city’s flavor direction.

05

Mockups

Applied color, graphics, and package artwork to final product mockups.

Brand identity and package structure.

These early assets established the core identity and structure for the packaging collection.

Using city maps as visual inspiration.

City maps provided visual references that helped connect regional identity with flavor-driven packaging design.

Fruit-Inspired Identity System

Each logo combines city identity with a regional flavor, creating a recognizable system across the packaging collection.

Applying color, graphics, and information hierarchy.

After the dieline and city logos were established, each package was developed with its own color palette and visual personality while maintaining a consistent overall structure.

Packaging applied to chocolate products.

The final mockups demonstrate how the packaging system translates into a cohesive product collection.

Designing a system instead of a single package.

This project strengthened my understanding of packaging as a complete design system. By connecting branding, structure, illustration, and regional storytelling, I developed a collection that balances consistency with variation across multiple product identities.
