Project Overview
A professional studio identity.
Duan Studio was created as a personal design practice and portfolio platform for branding, web design, and front-end work.
It presents selected projects, design services, and development skills through one consistent visual system.
The goal was to create a flexible platform that communicates clarity, credibility, and a designer-developer direction.

As a designer moving into front-end development, I needed a platform that showed both visual skill and technical execution.
The challenge was building a modern identity that worked across digital, print, and professional networking uses.

The goal was to present case studies, services, experience, and future client work in one clear system.
The website also needed reusable sections, responsive layouts, consistent spacing, and room to grow.
Brand Identity
A studio identity.
The identity is built around a custom LD monogram that uses geometric forms, negative space, and contrast to create a sense of depth. The L represents the shadowed structure, while the D acts as the illuminated surface, forming a balanced visual system that reflects clarity, precision, and design thinking.

The website presents selected projects, services, process, and professional information in one clear structure.
Modular sections, project cards, consistent spacing, and mobile-friendly layouts support smooth browsing across devices.
Reusable front-end components.
The website was developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles. Reusable components and scalable layouts were implemented to support long-term maintenance.
Special attention was given to spacing, image display, navigation behavior, interactive states, and mobile optimization.
AI-supported design workflow.
AI tools were integrated throughout the process to support ideation, content organization, front-end implementation, debugging, and iterative refinement.
The project also connects to my graduate research on designer-developer workflows and how AI can support the transition from visual design to web implementation.
